I’m Wil Kilcup, owner of Double Diamond Construction & Consulting.
I’m a small-town guy with a west-side upbringing, which turns out to be useful around here. A lot of the work in Suncadia and Cle Elum is for people who live over the pass and come over on weekends. I get both sides of that.
I started Double Diamond after years running jobs for other people, including high-end custom work in Suncadia and Lake Cle Elum. I like the work. I like solving the problems that show up on a job whether you planned for them or not. Mostly I like handing someone the keys and knowing they actually love the house.
I pay attention to scale, proportion, and the small things most people only notice when they’re wrong — a window that’s off, a room that feels cramped, a detail that doesn’t belong.
Construction rarely goes exactly as drawn. Clients should still always know where things stand, and they should never have to wonder whether anyone is watching the work. If we work together, you’ll deal with me. That’s the point.
Wil was the superintentdent on our custom home build in Suncadia. He has a real eye for design and proportion, and he treated the house like it mattered — not like a job to get through. He cares whether you love the finished product. We did. We’ve been friends ever since.
